Noctua vagus is an adventure hand-drawn game. A main character of the game is an owl. The owl meets other animals and interacts with them. It's a simple, relaxing game which doesn't tell a story of hero saving the world. The game tells story of owl that was flying in the forest one night.

The game is still under development. Current version is only suitable for testing purposes. It can't be considered as fully playable game with all features.

The game is free software licensed under GNU General Public License version 3. The game development takes place on Launchpad.net. A development tool is Python with Pygame modules.

If you want to help with development, you can download the game, play it and then report bugs on Launchpad page of the game for bug report. You can also help to translate the game to another language.

The game should run on all operating systems where Python with Pygame modules is supported. This includes Linux, Mac OS and Windows. All current or older computers should suffice for this game.

All versions of the game Noctua vagus can be downloaded from its Launchpad.net download page. There are three kinds of download files available.

Deb package is intended for Debian-based Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.).

Windows executable file is packaged in zip file.

Python source code is included in tar.gz file. This can be used in every operating system with Python (>2.6) and Pygame (>1.8) installed.
